It accepts input from a variety of scanners, recognizes and automatically discriminates among many bar code symbologies. The Percon Series 10 decoder interprets input from many devices including wands, handheld CCD scanners, 5-volt hand-held scanners and magnetic stripe readers.

The Percon Series 10 Plus decoder indicates scanning success in two ways: visibly with a light emitting diode (LED) on the front panel and audibly, with beeps that you can program for volume, pitch and duration.
