The Intermec 1463 reads high and low density bar codes (7.5 mil to 70 mil) and excels in applications using poor quality, low contrast symbols. The 1463's CCD consumes little power, is more durable than a laser, and works under most lighting conditions out to a 4 inch depth of field.

The 1463 accommodates a broad range of popular terminal interfaces including direct connect to laptop PCs, as well as RS-232. It's various models interface to PCs, POS terminals, Intermec wedge readers and hand-held terminals.
